Some of my favorite projects were illustrating patent drawings for a snowboard boot company, developing branding and packaging for a new line of laptop bags, working on the design of a grocery loyalty app for a software development company, and most recently coordinating projects for the creative and product development teams of an shoe insole manufacturer.

These varied experiences have have let me see firsthand the value of research, analysis, testing, and prototyping in addition to creativity. This unique combination of skills is exactly what is needed for UX Design and is that is what makes me passionate about this field.

When I step away from my computer, I gravitate toward the peaceful experience of being in nature. I mountain bike, run, hike, camp, and sometimes just take my truck on the dirt roads in the mountains to see what there is to see. I am fortunate to live in the Pacific Northwest and have easy access to the outdoors. I believe that being in nature brings peace and perspective on life and wish everyone had access to that experience. I would like to work for companies that work towards that same goal.
